Working at the edge between production and lab.

Junior sysadmin focused on enterprise Linux, storage and automation. I enjoy reproducing real-world issues in test environments, writing documentation, and understanding things from the ground up before applying them.

I work as a junior sysadmin at Mauden, where I manage IT infrastructures in mixed Windows/Linux environments. My areas include RHEL 9 and Ubuntu Server 24.04, configuring Samba/SMB shares for heterogeneous clients (Windows, macOS, Linux), enterprise storage administration with Cohesity, VMware vSphere virtualization and integrating Linux systems into Active Directory domains.

In parallel, I work with containers (Podman, Podman Compose, Docker) for self-hosted service deployments, and with LVM and RAID for software-defined storage. I'm completing an IFTS post-diploma program in Computer Systems Technology at Galdus, alongside my production work at Mauden.

Kimai self-hosted on Podman

Deployment of Kimai (time-tracking) on RHEL 9 via Podman Compose: two containers orchestrated together — the Kimai front-end and the MySQL database — but only Kimai is exposed to the network via port mapping. MySQL stays isolated in the compose internal network, reachable only by the app. Rootless networking, shared volume for data persistence, integration with the existing stack for backup and disaster recovery.
